Quilt Making Club Donates Comforts to Good Samaritan Shelter

Each year for the past 3 years the Quilting Club at Sunny Crest Home worked on and delivered comforts to children at the Good Samaritan Shelter and/or the Reading Children’s Home. This year the ladies who participated in comfort making made and delivered 10 comforts to The Good Samaritan Shelter. They had a tour of the shelter and then went out to Panda Garden to share in fellowship with the Habilitation Committee members and their comfort making coach Lydia.

This program offers the ability to “give to our community and surrounding communities” and to supply a need or bring comfort to children. The ladies from Sunny Crest Home always go with a smile on their faces and have a bigger smile upon delivering their comforts to the children.

We look forward to more comfort making and giving in 2015!
